Season III and beyond...

Season III has been amazing. The group of artists we have been fortunate to work with this last year are fantastic. Citytv is now hosting full episodes for 30 days after initial broadcast so if you missed one on air you can catch up online.

We'd love to hear from you which Canadian artists you would love to see in a season IV.

Season 3 mid Production

We are four shows into our third season - 9 more shows to go! So far we have filmed house concerts with Jill Barber, Ohbijou, The Low Anthem as well Blackie and The Rodeo Kings.
Keep in mind we are always on the look out for hosts for our shows and open to suggestions for bands and artists to appear on the show. Remember to let the artist(s) of your choice know that they should seriously consider appearing on our show - sometimes they just need that little nudge to convince them how great it is to be on our show.

Christmas with 'the dog'

SCN will have help those in Saskatchewan and elsewhere celebrate Christmas day with a day of Saskatchewan Productions. Immediately following Brian Stockton's "My Dinner With Generation X" there will be 2 back to back episodes from season one of 'the neighbors dog'. Starting at midnight you can watch Little Miss Higgins followed by Jason Plumb and the Willing. For details on other shows 'made in Saskatchewan', click here.

Alex Cuba Wins Latin Grammy, Nominated for Grammy

We had a great time when we shot our episode of 'the neighbors dog' with the talented and entertaining Alex Cuba and were thrilled to hear that he has continued his rise to international superstar. Alex was awarded a 2010 Latin Grammy in the Best New Artist category. He also co-wrote several songs on Nelly Furtado's Mi Plan and performed a duet on the disc which won Furtado the Best Female Pop Vocal award. Join our mailing list to be alerted when this and other episodes air starting in 2011.

Three More Shows In the Can

We have successfully shot three more episodes of the second season of the neighbors dog. Recently in the can are The Sheep Dogs, Danny Michel and The Library Voices. With the completion of these three fantastic shows, we have only one left to shoot. If you have not already suggested an artist or band, go for it on our facebook page. We take all suggestions quite seriously.
